Vigna Chinet is an event venue located in Turin, Piedmont (Italy). The villa, dating back to the 18th century, is set in a vast natural park-terrace overlooking the city and the Piedmontese Alps.
The villa was built in the Baroque style and features a chapel dedicated to San Galdino. The villa originally belonged to the Sala Trotti Bentivoglio family and was later inherited by the Sommi Picenardi family. Over the years, the villa has been used as a summer residence by many Italian noble families. Today, Vigna Chinet is a very special event location where you can celebrate your most beautiful moments, only a stone’s throw from the centre of Turin.
The venue comes furnished and the spaces can be managed as required The villa is open to the public for guided tours and special events such as weddings and art exhibitions. The park in the villa hosts numerous species of exotic and rare plants, including palm trees, Cedars of Lebanon, and magnolias. The Italian-style garden of the villa was designed by the famous landscape architect Luigi Villoresi and features a series of terraces with fountains, statues and geometric flowerbeds. The English garden, on the other hand, was designed by English landscape architect John Loudon and provides a romantic atmosphere with winding paths, streams and ponds. It provides a panoramic view of the city of Turin and the surrounding mountains. The hotel restaurant serves gourmet cuisine that emphasises the quality of local products from the Piedmont region.
